Want a well-trained dog in all settings but don’t have the time or experience? Chris’ Board and Train program is for you!

This program will teach your dog everything they need to know to be a well-behaved dog, no matter what setting. This program can also be used to address behavior modification issues such as anxiety, fear, reactivity, etc.  Your dog will spend every day learning from Chris using his science-based, dog training philosophy, perfected by friend and former mentor, Ted Carlson.

During the 1st week of the Board and Train program, your dog will learn all of the fundamentals of a good pet.

Including Potty-training, Kennel-training, Recall, Sit, Down, Off, Leave It, Place, proper Door-manners, and all-around Doggy-manners. Chris will also address common unwanted behaviors such as jumping, chewing, barking, mouthing, counter-surfing, and rough playing.

During the 2nd week, your dog will begin learning how to behave in public settings.

Your dog will continue to expand on what they learned during their first week while visiting new and populated environments such as the beach, restaurants and shopping centers. Proper leash-walking is the cornerstone of the 2nd week. Your dog will learn to walk politely next to you while ignoring distractions such as people and other animals.

Their 3rd and final week is a transitional week.

Chris will continue working on any problem areas, both in home and in public settings, while also visiting your home for up to 3 private lessons to ensure your newly trained dog behaves the same way for you as they do for the professional.

*Training equipment may be needed at owners’ cost, as determined by the trainer.
